The Pop Weaver Youth Pavilion was built as part of the $63 million renovation the the Coliseum and opened in July of 2013.  It is one of 2 ice rinks on the Indiana State Fairgrounds.  Public skating and other programming keeps the rink busy.

We are pleased that various groups have chosen to call the Youth Pavilion home and look forward to adding more in the future.

Indianapolis has a rich history of ice hockey starting with the first professional team, the Capitals, playing in the Coliseum.  This is where Wayne Gretzky played his first pro games along with hall of famer Mark Messier.

We are excited to bring public skating back to the Coliseum for the 2024-2025 season!
